This has been one of our most asked about shows since we started scheduling music after the Pandemic.
Gilberty Lee Cochrum will be opening for his friends and cocreators in the Enablers. Gibb will be putting on an hour of beautiful acoustic guitar and singing, dabbling from his extensive collection of original music and covers. Best known for his current project, Gilbert Lee and the Ghost on the Radio, he has been a major contributer to the areas music scene for years.
Gina Powell Larkin and the Enablers: What can be said? Gina is one of the names that has repeatedly come up since I started booking for MoonShadow. “When will Gina be here? Is Gina and the enablers going to come to MoonShadow??”
This will be a reunion a long time in the making. Performing original songs, mostly following the style of British invasion/Motown/90’s indie/alternative rock, this will be a high energy and jaw dropping performance by some of the areas most beloved musicians.

Known as the Appalachian Soul
Event Details
Known as the Appalachian Soul Man and carrying the torch for early pioneer, Bill Withers, Osage West Virginia native Aristotle Jones has been performing regionally for close to 15 years. To quote Jones:
“Appalachian Soul is music that reflects of the courage, strength, and fortitude that are the common threads connecting the people of our region.”
Jones first joined MHMG with Go 1st Records where his single, “The Talk,” debuted on The Go 1st Records Mixtape Vol. 1 back in the Spring of 2021.
Jones has resigned with Go 1st Records with a distribution deal where he will produce 8 releases in total. “The songs being released in this project are based on stories that I have been told as a child about my family’s struggles and enduring legacy. Each song is crafted in a style of music that I felt would have been heard playing out a car window driving down the Streets of Osage during its prime decades,” says Jones.
Engagement, connection, and passion, from head to toe, Aristotle Jones leaves it all on the stage. Jones is a modern version of a mix of Bill Withers, Leon Bridges, Darius Rucker, and Chris Stapleton, blending poignant acoustic singer-songwriter styles and seriously funky jams, and seamlessly mixing sultry R&B and uplifting gospel-rooted styles. Audiences are captivated by his range, emotion, authenticity, and originality.

The Hounded:
Matt sings of love, loss, and Appalachia. The title track, “Never Knew Blue,” lands on a homecoming: “I never knew blue till I packed up and left her, and followed those blue ridges home.” Appalachian Maryland can be fickle to win over with music. Playing original music that isn’t bluegrass is a risk, but as Matt’s brassy voice cuts into the audience’s hearts, Derek balances blues and country in his guitar leads. Sam’s calming demeanor anchors the group, as he peacefully slides up and down his bass, and Matt O’Reilly, nicknamed “Mono” due to being deaf in one ear, hits the beat hard and steady.
The Redlines:
Hailing from just north of Pittsburgh, PA, The Redlines have taken personal influences and past experience to create their own distinct blend of classic rock & roll with hints of 60’s soul, 70’s punk, and 80’s heartland rock mixed with a touch of power-pop and garage rock. Led by singer and guitarist, Brian Seese, the band has continued to write, record, and perform throughout the region for nearly a decade. The band is rounded out by second guitarist and occasional vocalist, Jason Lizzi, whose blistering solos and melodic leads often occupy the spotlight while the formidable rhythm section of Tony Vinski (bass) and Sandro Campagna (drums) create a rich and full foundation for each song. This signature sound is on display on Kick Out Today (released April 22,2022), the first part of an eventual two-EP album in which the band decided to let loose and inject their sense of fun into the music and lyrics all while using the various permutations of garage rock as the canvas.

Wild Whispers is a harmony-driven cinematic pop duo formed by Eli Lev and Megan Leigh.
After various solo ventures and a cross-country tour in 2019, the pair came back to Western Maryland and began writing songs for a trilogy music project. Their first single, Icarus Rising, is scheduled for release in September of 2020.
Produced in Nashville, TN, Icarus Rising features strong male / female vocals and a full, ethereal sound. With catchy melodies, unexpected harmonies, and thoughtful lyrics, the song has mainstream appeal but utilizes unique arrangements that push the sonic envelope.
It is the debut release from the newly formed group and will be followed by two more singles in 2021 to form a trilogy based on the Greek myth of Icarus’s journey to the sun.
Building on a breakout Tiny Desk Contest video submission, Wild Whispers began releasing live performance videos of their original music on YouTube.
With rare live appearances in their first year of formation, Wild Whispers are building their worldwide community online and via private invitation-only live shows.

Event Details
While drawing comparisons to bands like the “War on Drugs” and “The Paper Kites”, the alternative/rock duo’s emotive sound is uniquely their own. The band emerged in 2018 with their first single “1984” causing instant buzz with tastemakers and followed with a stellar debut EP entitled “Vol. 1” in 2019. These early releases drew praise from industry standouts such as LANY and Noah Gundersen which spurred the band to embark on their first national tour in 2019 with Vacation Manor, playing the major cities down the US east coast.
Powered by their first national tour and early releases, the band began to grow organically, finding resonance through their late-night, timeless sounds with fans both in the US and internationally. Upon seeing the undeniable growth of a true fan base, the independent duo spent the following year writing and recording their debut album with producer Nick Box in a lake house turned studio. They continued to evolve sonically throughout the recording of the album, and ended up with a record that they believe will stand the test of time. The first single from the album, “I Still Love You”, captured the attention of listeners globally as it amassed over 2.5 million views over a few short months and expanded their listener base to 50,000+ YouTube subscribers and 20,000+ Spotify followers. NIGHT TRAVELER released its complete debut album “Dreams You Don’t Forget” in April of 2021 to a reception that they themselves hadn’t anticipated. Their increasingly steady growth of deep listeners shows that the future is bright for this band from Austin, Texas. The classic melodies, guitar forward production, and nostalgic feel to their songs make listeners feel like they’ve been listening to NIGHT TRAVELER forever.
